Little Five Points, Atlanta

Untitled

My best friend and I both got nose piercings in the fall of ’06. Hers grew over so in the spring of ’07, we ventured into l5p to get it redone by someone who really knew what they were doing…i.e. Sacred Heart Tattoo.

While we were in town, we did the requisite things- ate at the Vortex (which my Atlanta grown friend had never been to even though she dated a guy who went to Georgia Tech!) and shopped at Junkman’s Daughter. We are going back in the next couple weeks to hang out for a day. It feeds our bohemian roots.

CancĂșn, Quintana Roo

Such an interesting place!

We needed to find a pharmacia and didn’t need to go far- 2 blocks back from the tourist area was where the locals reside. Totally different world and it’s soo close to the tourist stuff.

Lots of shopping, Senor Frog’s was a BLAST! I had to run back to the ship, but would have loved to go swimming with the natives in the ocean.

Belize, Central America And The Caribbean

Beautiful, satisfied country

We went spelunking (cave tubing) in Belize. On our way out of Belize City, we saw school children walking around through small neighborhoods of tiny homes- but all of them had smiles on their faces and were in general happy.

The weather is beautiful, though do remember your bug spray, and the cave tubing is so cool!
