Small, very beautiful town on the east shore of Lake Huron. Has a spectacular lighthouse, and lots to do in the area. Very beautiful. Site of a Scottish festival every Canada Day weekend (July 1st).

I was in Phnom Penh in 2002. It’s a remarkable city; very evocative of a bygone glory of an Asian Metropolis fused with French touches. It’s not an easy city to vist or to get around. The roads still hadn’t recovered from the fighting and the city at night is eerie and strange because of the absence of lights. The river area is truly spectacular and worth seeing. There can be few places like the Foreign Corresspondents’ Club to reflect on a bygone era. The people were very friendly. Go with planning and caution. Recommended.
