I must have bought up half their stock of tiny little rubber chickens, bride and groom figures, cocktail monkeys/elephants/demons, charms, stickers and crap. This is unquestionably the most surreal store I’ve ever been to. If there is ever a grand pirate-ninja war it will be here in Ballard, because Archie’s has all the gear either could ever need. And ever possible color of Devil Duckie. What more could you ask?

I like this place. I find overly hip bars a little intimidating, but Linda’s feels pretty comfortable in that slightly scruffy way that the hubby and I do comfortable. The beer is good and the burgers are excellent too. When we become permanent fixtures in town (no, seriously!) this is going on the list of regular places to go.
