A truly magical visit.
It was incredibly cold but then again it was January, which meant no queues, which meant you could see and do everything again and again!

The only minus – the food, within the park it’s burgers or burgers ohhh and pizza! No healthy options other than in expensive restaurants and if you are a vegetarian, well errr good luck!

But ohhhh my Pluto, Donald, Mickey, Pooooh, Tigger, Goofy Whhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Again, Again, I want to go again!

Born and bred here, this is still my favourite place within Edinburgh. It’s a step into the country whilst caught in the rush hour. If you are brave enough to scale it’s heights you wont be disappointed with the views across the city, to Fife and beyond.

If you don’t feel that energetic for the climb, there are always hungry swans to feed at St Margaret’s Loch.

Driving around this part of the world with inside knowledge was the highlight of my trip. Stopping off at local farms, sampling local produce having a brief insight into the Amish community – fascinating!

What a great day was spent here!

Make sure you try the hanuted house, I ran screaming from it! Yes it was that good ;)

A truly breathtaking part of the world. I felt privildged viewing many of the remote parts of the islands from sea. We sailed in and around Skye and the Small Isles – Eigg, Muck, Canna and Rum.

Well worth taking time out, and step into the slow lane.
