St. Augustine Lighthouse

Worth visiting!

Awesome experience

The view when you get to the top is breathtaking. If you can handle the 219 steps up and then back down, you won’t be sorry.

St. Augustine

Worth visiting!

St Augustine should be named the most beautiful place in the country

This place is an awesome destination for a vacation or just a day trip. It’s close to Jacksonville but has a small town feel and I am proud to say I climbed the St Augustine lighthouse all the way to the top and the view was breathtaking. Apparently there are several wonderful restaurants in the area but I haven’t personally ever eaten at any of them. This recommendation is from my daughter. It’s just a nice place with a lot of fascinating history and according to the locals, St Augustine is the oldest city in the nation.

Flagstaff

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: I want to live in Flagstaff

Flagstaff is one of the most beautiful areas and places I’ve ever been to and I’ve been practically everywhere in the United States as a long haul truck driver. Flag has the best of both worlds, snow in the Wintertime and warm weather in the Summertime. The mountains in and around Flagstaff are some of the most picturesque sites you’ll ever see. I haven’t had much contact with the locals but I did stop once at the Little America truckstop and the people there were very friendly and helpful. Apparently it’s a little expensive to live there as far as I’m concerned, it would be worth it. Two thumbs up for Flag.

Easley

Not worth visiting!

A review of this place: Just another drab, backwards-ass Southern town

Easley isn’t any better or any worse than any other depressed, backward, boring town. Yes there is a bowling alley here and a movie theatre but NO MALL, NO TARGET and NO STARBUCKS. Yes there’s a Walmart but you could cover the whole store in ten minutes and don’t expect to find a Supercenter here. Easley is so far off the Interstate, it’ll take you about 45 minutes to get to I 85. At least Anderson is closer to the Interstate than that and they have a Target and a mall. Easley is full of mostly run down houses but there are some nicer area but don’t expect to be able to work in Easley and afford to live in these areas. Where I live which is on the outskirts, they don’t even have trash service. I’ve NEVER lived anywhere that didn’t have trash service. Oh and don’t bother calling the cops if your neighbor walks into your back yard with a shotgun. They’ll just tell you that you don’t belong here and to go back to California. I speak from experience.

Lakewood

Worth visiting!

I used to:

live in Lakewood a long time ago.
