I went to Grenoble for 36 hours. Left home at 6am on Wednesday and was back in time to go out to the pub with friends on Thursday evening.

Had a great time, although the French airport left a lot to be desired.

Postman Cheval’s Palace in Hauterives was amazing!

I didn’t have enough cash so didn’t get there. I will one day though :o)

Ryan air had then going for a penny each plus taxes. :)

I moved back here after living in the West Midlands.

It’s nice to be back. :)

A nice thriving market town with the fresh blood of the univesity keeping things from going stale.

Make sure you are prepared for all weather conditions though. Good boots, waterprof clothing, snacks to keep you going if lost or worse.

Don’t forget to check the military practise times too so you don’t walk into the middle of a firing range!

I went here on holiday for a few years as a child. I loved visiting the duckpond on the green in East Runton (or was it West Runton?) The village parade and fete were nice too when we our holiday turned out to be the same week.

It’d be a good place to go to relax and read a few books :)

The rice terraces, the local arts and crafts and the traditional dance costumes.

I’ve been to Finland twice now. Once when it was -18 inn January, and once when it was +24 in June.

Both experiences were excellent. The scenery was great, the people were friendly and their attitude to life was refreshing.

I’m hoping to go again to see the Autumn as I’ve been told that it is a different experience again.

I went on a family holiday when I was a scild and was driven all the way around the little roads around the loch.

It was very pretty despite being very narrow in places.

I did see enough waterfalls to last me a lifetime though!
