Hell, Grand Cayman

Untitled

The only thing to see is the gift shop / rock formations. They’re basically the same establishment. You can send postcards from Hell, buy Hell-related articles of clothing… I myself purchased a pair of shorts proclaiming “Devil’s Hangout” on the bum, and sent postcards to many of my friends. It was a fun time, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re visiting the islands.

Jamaica, Central America And The Caribbean

Untitled

I was 10 the first (and last) time I went to Jamaica, and I was absolutely taken aback at how thoroughly different it was from the Canadian cities I was used to. We stayed in a very nice hotel, and less than a kilometre away was a market filled with locals sporting wares I’d never seen before. Haggling was their way of life, so I got suckered into buying things I didn’t really want at the time… I’ve come to appreciate them now, but more for the memories than for the items. I’d recommend Jamaica highly. It’s so interesting and full of things to see.

Sydney Opera House, Sydney City

Untitled

Ever since I was little, this incredible building has been somewhat of a fascination for me. It’s so strange and lovely and not at all like the drab, grey skyscrapers that riddle Canada’s largest cities or the pastel-coloured houses you’d find in Florida. It’s so unique, and I’ve always wanted to see it for myself.
