I love this little city because of my relatives and my own personal history. This place has so much character. It is a wonderful place to be from.

I visited friends in Minot in January of 2008. It was quite wonderful.

I took the train from San Jose, CA to Minot, ND to visit friends. I so enjoyed my trip there and the people in Minot were wonderful. It was an awesome trip.

My husband performed with the choir at the 150th Anniversary of the Dominican Order’s Presence in the Western United States. He played the Irish Whistle. There were nearly 5000 Priests and Nuns present at this event, most all wearing white and black. As we moved from the church upstairs to the reception halls downstairs we lost track of our youngest son. The hall was shoulder to shoulder people. I told everyone else to look for the food, I was sure my son would be there. Way in the back of the room, sitting next to the Provost of some Catholic University was my 8 year old, all dressed up in his black suit, chicken wings in hand. Hi Mom, we’re talking about what makes for a good chicken wing. Are ya now!
