The first time I went to DC was this past weekend. My boyfriend recently moved to DC for his career and this weekend was the first time that I went to visit. He showed me around the National Zoo, then we rode the Metro to downtown and visited the Washington Monument, the Capitol Building, and lots of the Smithsonian museums and the Botanic Garden, which was beautiful. I had no idea that one could see all of that for free. How cool is that? I really enjoyed my first trip to DC and I REALLY enjoyed getting to visit my boyfriend. I can’t wait to go back and see him again!!
