I was visiting friends in South Bend and we drove to Wakarusa for the Maple Syrup Festival. I love this kind of thing! The local celebrations about what makes our communities special. It was a beautiful day in beautiful country. (plus it’s just fun to say Wakarusa)

I grew up in north Jersey – there’s a lot more to do and see in the state than most people think. Lots of great historic sites, nature, farms, cities, the beach.

We spent a week in Tobago just relaxing and enjoying the beauty. I need to go back to explore some more!

Glaciers, geysers, icebergs, volcanos, geothermal pools… This is definitely one of the most amazing places I’ve been. We rented a car a saw as much of the country as we could – I would recommend it completely! (did I mention the northern lights?)

get out of the city and look around. I love NYC but there’s a whole lot to do and see if you’re willing to venture upstate!

been there twice but can’t stop thinking about going back

Went home with a friend who acted as my tour guide from Dublin to Galway, the Burren & Cliffs of Moher, Limerick, Kilkenny and points in between. He talked me into jumping the barrier at the Cliffs, wandering out to the edge, laying down and looking over the edge….and then told me that the cliffs are blocked off because the stone occassionally crumbles away into the sea…it was totally worth the terror – what a view.
Gorgeous country, wonderful people, great music, what more could a girl ask for?
