and was surprised how fun it was to be in a ski town in the off season. The views were still spectacular, things were a little bit cheaper and I enjoyed my time there.

and ended up staying an entire day. Even though there were other people crawling around the place, it’s still surprisingly peaceful. Sitting there in awe of these rare formations is one of my fondest memories of Ireland (and there seem like there a millions of memories for that trip).

Sedona is, simply put, beautiful. The red rock views are breath-taking. It seems as though every where you look is a photo-op or a post card view. If you haven’t been, go. It’s a great place with amazing views and nice little shops.

I went to high school a couple of doors down from this place. Not a lot of people in town know this house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright ( this may have changed in the 14 years since I graduated). As a previous poster suggested, it was run-down and not very well maintained. I’ve heard that recent renovations have made a huge difference – it’s probably worth a visit.

I went to Mount St. Joseph in Delhi. All the locals are pretty friendly, albeit somewhat territorial. It’s not that uncommon to meet people who are third and fourth generation Delhi/west side residents. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my time there.

My wife and I used to go there just about every weekend. The chocolate chip pancakes are amazing! A nice place in a great college town. When I’m in Bloomington, I eat breakfast at the Village Deli.

I heard a rumor that they were closing – I hope this isn’t true. When I lived in Columbus, most of the bands I liked came through here. One of the more memorable shows I saw was Luna on their last tour. Great time.

Go see a show there if you’re able.

My wife, son and I used to live around the corner from Cafe Apropos, and it was a frequent stop for us. Everyone who worked there was always very friendly and accommodating to our 2 year old son meandering through the place. Great coffee, great ice cream and great wine tastings. When I visit Ohio this summer, I’ll definitely go there – I highly recommend it to anyone!

was for my anniversary. It’s a great place if you like steak. Most items on the menu are named for local celebrities. It’s a great atmosphere – we enjoyed it very much.
