Make it down to the beach at sunset for an amazing view of the setting sun over the Gulf, and enjoy a unique show by the pelicans swooping down into the water over and over to catch their dinner.

I found out that the gondola is not for me! I hadn’t thought previously that I had a fear of heights, but well.. I learned that quickly as we started our 20-minute trek up the mountain in our cable car.
the scenery is indescribable, though. the town itself is beautiful, as well as pretty much the whole of Alberta. it made for a really memorable and wonderful vacation

I spent one memorable night at one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever seen (let alone stayed at), the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa. the hotel sits literally on the Monterey Bay, and we woke up to the sounds of sea otters swimming underneath our window. spectacular. the only downside was that we didn’t get to stay longer

I have had a life-long desire to be at Carnival, and experience how ‘alive’ a place can be.
