I flew into Denver airport and noticed as I was landing that I couldn’t see any mountains. I assumed because of Denver’s reputation as “mile high” that they would immediately visible. As I was driving downtown I crested a freeway exit and . . . BAM, there they are, the Rockies, taking up all my attention. I was looking at the sun setting behind the peaks and totally missed my freeway exit.

The islands are beautiful but stay away from the cities.

The land is beautiful. It is one of only two places I have been that I would move to.

I’m making a very short stop (12 hours) here on the way to New Zealand. I’m hoping to just get a glimpse this trip. It may motivate me to take a more lasting vacation here.

Well, the tickets are purchased, the plans made and the vacation scheduled. We have a 12 hour layover in Fiji. I figure that will give us a little bit of time to leave the airport and check out the island before hopping back on to head to NZ. It looks like this is really going to happen.

The most beautiful natural occurence ever. Period. I have to see if before I die.
