The last time I went to this place  — 1 year ago

Princess & Pirate party from 11am – 12noon at the Boars Head Tavern. All wee lads and lasses are invited to dress in their finest princess or pirate costume and enjoy music, dance, activities and even march in a parade! This party may appeal to
children ages 4 – 8, but all are welcomed.
In celebration of the festival’s 30th anniversary, King Henry VIII has declared the village will host a Family Tudor Costume Contest. Prizes will be awarded to the family who wears the most accurate Tudor costumes. (We are describing a family unit as at least one parent/guardian and child under the age of 16. However – the more the merrier!).

    Family Tudor Costume Contest

The costume contest will be held at 12:30pm at the Market Stage. In case of rain, it will be moved to the Boars Head Tavern. Prizes include tickets to Medieval Times in Arundel Mills Mall. And the winning family will be invited to view the 2pm Joust from the Reviewing Stand!

For more information on Medieval Times, please visit their website at www.medievaltimes.com

September 23rd & 24th: Adventure Weekend: Seafaring, pirates and the age of exploration.

The Renaissance was a time of discovery. This weekend we explore beyond the shores of England. Learn about life at sea. Hear stories of the great adventures. Experience music and dance from foreign lands. Eat, drink and be merry with delicacies from the sea. And of course, arrrghh matey – there be pirates!

Pirate costume contest for adults (16 and over) and children (0-15). Prizes will be awarded for the best pirate costume – head to toe. The Pirate Costume Contest will be held at 1:30pm on the Gatehouse Stage. Prizes include tickets to Medieval Times in Arundel Mills Mall. Winners of the adult costume contest will also receive a pair of tickets to Watermark Crusies “Pirates, Rum and Reggae” Cruise aboard the Harbor Queen on Saturday, September 30th.
