Most of my trips to Darien Lake were for the annual Kingdom Bound events. I have been there for other concerts and company picnics, too. As with any park, it gets less exciting over time, but it still has plenty to offer on your first visit.

There are plenty of toys from the past in this museum. Of particular interest to me was the Fisher-Price Little People display. In the case, you could look at the evolution of the Little People from generation to generation, up to today. It’s fun for the young and old alike.

If you haven’t had the Anchor Bar’s original buffalo wings, you simply haven’t had buffalo wings! Their wings are the cream of the crop. I prefer to go on Friday and Saturday evenings to catch some jazz, too.

I’ve seen a few hockey games here. It’s a nice little arena.

It seems like a nice place to visit . . . I just wouldn’t want to be stranded there!
