Hometown
This is the town where I grew up. Not much to see here really but a nice place to grow up or raise a family.

The Swedish House of Nobility (Riddarhuset) is only open for one hour per day, I believe it’s from 12:00 noon until 1:00pm. It contains the crests from all the Swedish noble families and other interesting history and artifacts.

Husaby Church is a great side trip not too far from the main road. The Church was started in the 1100s and has a spectacular ceiling. And audio tour is set up in the Church and is available in several languages. Make sure to see the rhune stone at the edge of the grave yard.

The new home of Aston Martin, the Gaydon facility is a modern automobile factory in every sense of the word. Here they build the DB9 and V8 Vantage. The factory is closed to the public but tours are possible under certain circumstances. The easiest way to get a tour is if you have a new Aston Martin on order (Lucky you!). If you are a member of the Aston Martin Owners Club watch for open days. Otherwise the best way to try to arrange a tour is through your local authorized Aston Martin dealer. If you are a die-hard Aston Martin fan it’s well worth the visit. When you are there make sure to ask the receptionist for a free pass to the British Motor Heritage Museum which is located nearby.
