I need to move away.

I went for the first time in 2000 with my mother and my aunt Joanie. We stayed in the Movie Magic hotel (I think), and was my only trip to Disney.

Now, my mom and her husband have a condo there. Two summers ago I went with them and my friend Ashley for a few days. We hit up Universal Studios and all that jazz. Um, it definitely wasn’t as fun at age fourteen, anti-social and hating the sun, as it was at age eight. Our highlight of the entire trip was pigging out at the local Golden Corral

My mother, her old boyfriend Carl, my friend Joey, and I took Carl’s RV to a campground here the summer after fourth grade. We went to Bush Gardens!

I didn’t want to go in the first place, but you can’t really argue with my mother when she has her heart set on something. We were in the airport for over fourteen hours waiting for an open flight, and it went downhill from there. A hurricane, Rick being an asshole, being bored constantly because, SURPRISE!, I don’t like beaches or hot weather and I was stuck in Mexico for a week.

I would like to go to Mexico again, as it was quite beautiful. Hopefully when I’m older, with friends instead of my mother and her boyfriend, and to someplace that isn’t such a fucking tourist trap.
