we went down to help rebuild from katrina desstruction- everyone i met was fantastic and incredibly friendly, which was a great experience coming from new york ;)

of course we went to the french quarter while we were there, and if you can get a hurricane while you’re there, do it.. it’s pretty damn good.

for kvetchy fun, we went to palm readers at jackson square, and they were surprisingly on their game. better than the ones in new york who are so vague that it has to make sense.

i was 6 months, to see family. i haven’t been since i was about 7 years old. i’d love to go again.

was disney world. i’d like to go back and see more.

avoid myrtle beach at all costs.

i was dungannon, va for a mission trip. it’s a very very poor area (appalachia) but so very beautiful at the same time.

i sang in the national cathedral. good times, and the church itself is beautiful

i got stuck in boston and couldn’t get out without taking a cab because their subways shut down way too early.

when it’s -33 + windchill, the top of the mountain is NOT where you want to be :p

if you’re going skiing at okemo, jackson gore is usually less crowded than the main side of the mountain.

stay away from hartford, and just go to new haven. check out mamouns for falafel.
