Capitol Hill 60 Minute Photo

Worth visiting!

Why I recommend this place to locals

If you live on Capitol Hill, this is the best place to drop your Lomo/Holga film for processing, cross-processing, and making great color/BW/sepia-toned prints.

Victrola - Pike Street

Why I recommend this place to locals

Victrola has THE best soy mocha I’ve found in Seattle!

If you like mochas with double espresso ristretto shots, good bittersweet chocolate balance, and creamy consistencies, check them out. Their whole milk mochas are excellent too. For sweeter, richer chocolate, checkout the Bauhaus Cafe around the corner from Victrola.

Thailand

(in Asia)

Worth visiting!

Grew up in Bangkok

I miss the food, beaches and good times everyday! I can answer your questions as I continue to return and visit family once a year. I’ve also brought 2 people back with me from Seattle who has not been to Asia before and LOVED the experience.

Cities to visit: Bangkok (metropolis), ChiangMai (mountains in north), Phuket (beaches in south), Ayutthaya (old palace ruins outside Bangkok; go by land or river)

Upcountry destinations: Bridge over River Kwai in Kanchanaburi (there’s a hidden jem of a floating hotel here on the River Kwai by the border of Burma with no electricity and elephants that bathe by your “jungle raft”), temples & villages in Chiang Mai, rural beaches: Rayong, Koh Samui/Samet

Best Scuba Diving: Similan Is., Krabi, Phi Phi in Phuket, Ko Tao

Must see/do: Ride an elephant, snorkeling/scuba diving, Grand Palace, Ayutthaya, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, snake farm on the Chao Praya river, Muay Thai, shopping at Chatruchak sunday market, traditional Thai massages, eat lots of Thai food, watch lots of movies cheap!
