We went Spirit Lake in August 2006 and had a great tour of the Victory plant. The town is very motorcycle friendly too! Good food in various places in town.

Its just off of I-17 and a nice and afforable place to take the family.

We’ve been there a handful of times and the drive NEVER ceases to be a treat. It is especially great on a bike. The food and shops are great too.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been! Now since I live in Arizona I plan on visiting often.

My mother-in-law’s church friend has a time share in Sedona and was not going to be able to use it before the end of the year. My mother-in-law and father-in-law wanted to stay home for New Year’s and wanted to give my husband and I the treat of a free time share for the holidays. We were truly blessed and enjoyed our time in both traveling there and in our stay. We did not do anything fancy, just enjoyed our togetherness in a beautiful place. We stayed at The Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort and ate at Oak Creek Brewery. We had the best steaks at the brewery. The time share was a studio and was very nice and had beautiful views of the Sedona Red Rock.

I spent my birthday week in San Fran with my sister and it was wonderful! We stayed by Union Square, rode the trolley, went down to the prier, walked on the beach, and drove over the Golden Gate Bridge. It is full of life and has a European feel on the West Coast.

Its basically out in the middle of nowhere, but if you don’t mind traveling through vast flat plains and you are a Wizard of Oz fan, its a nice place to visit. Also if you like Mexican food, check out a few of the local family Mexican resturants. Good stuff!

Atchison can be a great place, just as long as you visit. I grew up in Atchison County and lived in Atchison for almost 15 years. The Haunted Tours is nice, Amelia’s house, Santa Fe Depot and touring the brick streets and 19th-early 20th century homes. Its beautiful in the fall and spring. The problem with Atchison is “old money” and government officials. Its a shame because Atchison has so much potential. Small minds will always keep Atchison small and in 50 years a shadow of what even exists today. Already within the last 10 years, population has declined by over 2,000 while Leavenworth/Lansing continually booms.
