Pictures do not do the town justice in its beauty. Here again the people are so friendly, warm, giving.

Totally awesome place to go. The Skiers’ actually do look into a grave yard when they come off the jump. Awesome.

I lived here for three years. When in doubt about the language speak english. You could be offending someone if you speak french in the belgian section and belgian in the french section. There is a clash between the languages. So if you speak english, use it. Until you know for sure. You will be surprised at how many of the people speak english. Very, very friendly people, who will open there homes and hearts to you, especially if you get away from the main tourist areas.

An excellent place to take a vacation and relax. The people are so very friendly and out going here. Will go again for sure.

It is a very beautiful city with lots to do for everyone. Would highly recommend going to see and experience it.

Emerald Isle is the way the Outer Banks use to be. Not very many people or built up yet. You can still move in and around the Isle very easily without much traffic concerns and the beaches are outstanding.

Accept a slower pace from the local people. Do not be in a rush for anything. Normally when you go here you are on vacation. That means time does not matter, so relax and enjoy the people and the ocean. I lived in Southern Shores. I just missed my mountains.

I live here. This is a slower pace small town. Where people still wave and greet you. You can forget and leave your keys in the car or your car running while you go into a store for something and not worry about someone taking it. People are just more friendly here.
