it seems that my goal is coming closer.I have been included in a clinical study at the hospital in omaha ne and will be traveling back and forth thru western iowa so i am going to make the most of it by staying off the i80 if the weather permits and see more of my state starting money dec4th.
so every week there will now be another adventure to report ,not just the drive by looking.

My son made a point of telling me that i trek all over Europe and yet there is so much to see right here at home. So, I have taken up the challenge.

of all the things i saw,walked past and have read about,the thing that go me most was,the ones that were murdered while trying to escape are still remembered on the fence around the park.that touched me more than anything else.also uncle ernst, that he at 89 walked faster than i did! I’m glad we went.I’m glad i made the bus trip. I just wasn’t enamored with the city as much as i thought i would be. Dresden is still better.

I did it at 7:30am 8/11. im glad i did it! but it’s nice to view it from the ground. completely awe inspiring! i will be back to rome/Rom/ROMA

oma ulla gave me euro’s to spend on a gift. this is the area that i spent it in, a delicat wooden angel she’s perfect.made better because oma made it happen.

every day i walk the stacks and marvel at the things that they hold,i was very ill right before i left for europe this summer and i have decided that instead of waiting for someday, i am making my somedays. i plan on getting all the info from the stacks! either at my library or one of the other ones in the metro area, anyone that waits,wastes time. the library has so much to offer. all you have to do is make time to do it.the world on a shelf to make your horizons grow! and its for free to read what could be better

I had a sun dress and sweater on. last minute we decide to take the cable car 2480 meters up the side of a mountian , good things i always have my back pack with me, so on came the socks, and the extra slip i packed for italy not the alpine climit then it started to rain because we were with in kissing distance of the clouds! wonderful day to sit and drink beer at the top of a mountian and that is what we did!

but that was not what i did there! even though that is what all the guide books say it’s known for. we caught all the different trains from that station so that is how i will remember rimini large houses with fences al the way around then and the train station, and a not so clean WC
