Almaty
It’s certainly a wonderful place. Can’t wait to come back to Almaty.
Beautiful mountains, picturesque views, tasty apples and tomatos, happy people.
And everyone understands Russian :)

Last summer I’ve read in a magazine about this absolutely cute creatures… Maneki-neko, you know. It’s a cat with his paw turned up and it brings you good luck.
I just thought if I go to Japan someday – I’d buy so much maneki-nekos as my cash would let me. They’re so cute… I have no words, I die.
I must confess I just love bagpipe music. Many of my mates tend to say it’s boring and over 3 minute bagpipe songs annoy them, but I can’t agree with them. It’s so energetic.
One bagpipe player (I wonder if there’s any name for this profession) I adore is Fred Morrison. Most of his jigs and reels are optimistic and I love going for a walk with them in my earphones.
But I don’t think I’d ever try to learn how to play one, because it seems very hard for me.
