Its a good place to go and visit, but i personally couldnt live there in a million years. Topo busy and chaotic for my taste. Very nice travel destination if you have a friend or a guide, you will get lost if you are alone.
Not very friendly people and dont you dare smile in the underground! Eyes can kill you!

i am from cyprus, was born and raised, lived here till my 17th and then mo0ved to the uk.
Cyprus is,believe me, one of the must-go places on your lists. Not only the nightlife, the wine, the beaches, the people, the history, the language, the beauty and nature are great but remember is the homecountry of Aphrodite, the Greek Godess of Beauty!
