I got lost here once.
It was terrifying.

I want to visit the beautiful parts.
I know there’s got to be some.

I live about 30 minutes away and have been going there pretty frequently for the past 20 years of my life. New York State Museum is great. There’s a lot of really good pizza places, and Madison/Quail is full of college kids and frat parties. There’s a show at Valentine’s practically every night. There used to be a lot of cool venues but they all closed down.
Albany is basically awesome when you think about it, a lot of people don’t give it the credit it deserves.

I’ve been here a few times.

It’s good in small doses, but too much will make you go crazy.

The best part is always driving back home as the sun is rising while listening to Journey :)

I fucking love this place.
Everyone is pretty cool and friendly, the lake is beautiful. Cute little shops. I used to ride the Minnie HaHa a lot when I was a kid. The museums are pretty fun, and there’s a bunch of arcades and minigolf spots.
I go here all the time to relax, I want to live here but it’s too pricey because of all the tourists.
It’s amazing in late April-early May when it’s a ghost town.

Tapa’s. Most amazing salad/sweet potato fries I’ve ever had.
