Been there with a friend to visit another friend, and OK it was freezing, but the place is actually cute. Really nice, small enough for a weekend. And ohmygod they have lots of bars, so we all woung up having a great time.

Monuments I visited : the Primatial palace, where Napoleon signed the Presburg peace treaty, and the Town hall – where you have various museums / exhibitions. Town Hall (just besides primatial palace) is really cute. Cathedral St Martin where Empress Marie-Therese was crowned.

Monument I did not visit : the Bratislava castle. Went uphill tho but apparently the best is the voew on the city so…

Food : we had only one slovakian meal, that says it all. Switched to cuban and italian food. Cakes are really good, I had sachertorte.

Drinks : Lots of cafes around there. They have cafe menus. And… lots of bars, the most amazing being the UFO, on the top of a bridge tower. (Great place, if only they opened at the time they say they open). Then a bar on a barge (Cirkus Barok, real good fun), and other bars and other bars…

Let’s not forget the best : walking through the city at random. Guys who go there will enjoy the concentration of beatiful tall blonde girls

Snow, ice, deers, ski doo, northern lights (if you are lucky), a weird liquorice liquor, cross country skiing, and.. you can actually hear true silence.

Fantastic country, fantastic welcoming people, lots of history and culture, amazing places (Petra is most awesome among other ones), very safe (you can leave your car with keys on and find it days after). People will invite you to their home to have tea, sometimes will offer full hospitality. Very educated people. just go there
