When I was 9 years old, I would walk down to the Prehistoric history Museum and spend hours wandering around the exhibits. In the summertime, my family and I would go camping in the desert. It was like a natural playground, plenty of rocks to climb and canyons to explore. Sometimes, I miss it.
over 4 years agoWell, not here, exactly. I lived in Carbonville. I went to middle school at Helper Middle School, though. It was closer to where we were than Mont Harmon was, I suppose. The coolest thing about living in this dead-end place in the middle of nowhere was the book cliffs that were nearby. I was all over those hills, and found a place in back of the cliffs where I could climb up to the top and look over the town of Price. Not that there was much there to look over. There was also an old cemetary that my siblings and I cleaned up once in a while. It had been terribly neglected. I wonder if anyone’s looking after it now?
