I have always heard that Key West is such a lazy place where you can just go and CHILL. No pressure to do a lot of touring, although they do have places of interest. My ideal time there would be to take two weeks (more if time allows), bring my camera, bring my notebook, do a little writing and just relax and let the batteries recharge so to speak.

West Palm Beach and Boyton Beach are very pretty cities with beautiful beaches and plenty of night life. Also, since I’m a fan of the ocean the southern Atlantic does not disappoint; clear warm and inviting. When hurricane Helen rolled through lots of rocks were kicked up near the shores so you can snorkel and check out many fish right near shore which is pretty sweet!

I do suggest going on more milder times of the year so that sun exposure, heat stroke, etc. aren’t significant factors. I would not suggest to visit during the months of July, August or September.

I traveled to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and go on safaris. My companions and I stayed there for three weeks roughly and had the experience of a life time.
