Sligo is like my second home. I used to date someone from Cloonacool (Co. Sligo) and I lived in Town and in the country when I stayed there (3 months at a time, a few times a year for 5 years).

I only want to cry when I think about it. This, Wonderful, peaceful place.

Spend as much time as you can there! Visiting is NOT enough. It grows on you and starts to feel like a warm sweater. :-)

I was 10 years old. I couldn’t appreciate it! I want to go back as an adult, with a boyfriend! This is one sexy, fun place – perfect for young people just wanting to have fun.

That time was a first for MANY things. My first (and only) munching on a sugar cane experience…eating fresh pineapples from the fields, kona coffee, chocolate covered macadamia nuts, SUSHI: California rolls (didn’t like them at the time!)

I can’t wait to go back!

Don’t go here in the Summer when it’s warm and busy…people are a bit rude at these times. TOO crowded, too full of tourists.

It’s best to go to Galway in the cold, winter months. Then it’s awesome and beautiful. GREAT shopping. Lovely views.

My first trip to Dublin was meeting someone from the internet. We’d talked for over a year and we were in love and together for 6 years after that. December 15th, 2003 is when I first arrived in Dublin.

This place is Magical. It’s so thriving, friendly, warm and exciting…all at once!
