Great place to live, great place to work, and a definite place to visit.

If you’re in the area, stop by Kayaks. They have great coffee, good music, and plenty of seating. It’s a popular hangout of the Washington University crowd.

When I visited this mission (Winter 2006) it was under heavy renovation. I’m not sure when it will be finished, but it should be even better when they are done!

Paris is a lot like New York, US. Full of history, grand architecture, and art. There is so much to take in. I have be fortunate enough to visit Paris several times (2002, 2004, 2006), and every time I have visited, I am amazed by what new wonders I come across. But keep in mind, it is a major city full of all the things major cities have; both the good and the bad!

Think Miami when you visit Nice. Bring a swimsuit and enjoy the sun. Also be sure to visit the local markets – it was a great experience.

Venice is everything they say it is. It is a treasure on this Earth.

Be sure to get off the beaten path. The city becomes completely stuffed with tourists by mid-morning, but Venice is a true city. Get up early and see the locals start there day (8am-ish). You will see the true charm Venice has to offer.

Summer 2006, I was part of a fabulous trip to this little corner of the world, and let me tell you, it is beautiful! We stayed at a great little hotel in Old Town and spent the two weeks wandering around this wondrous city. To give you a Western parallel, the city reminded me greatly of Venice, Italy.. it has all the beauty, energy, and history you could ever want. A place definately worth visiting!
