Despite someone grabbing my ass on the subway, Mexico City was wonderful, and I’d love to go back.
It’s one of the few places where you can say the taxis are adorable.

I was a House Volunteer here for six weeks. Lots of fun!

I volunteered for six weeks at a hostel/youth center for Girl Scouts. Great city, I just wish there was more to do in the zócalo.

I went with a group of people from my Girl Scout council in Chicago. I was very lucky to be able to go and would love to go back!

It’s weird, but…I like how this place smells. I don’t know why, I just do.

Also, I would love to have my wedding in the winter garden, but that would probably cost way too much money.
Edit: $5,250 for four hours?! Ha ha ha, yeah, right.

Taxco’s streets are crazy, like a small European town. (Hmm, I wonder why that is?) Of course, there are lots of silver shops, all at wonderfully reasonable/cheap prices. Be firm in your spending limit. You’re going to want to buy almost everything!
