Beautiful tourist town
I spent time in Mestre over 20 years ago as a missionary and loved Mestre. We visited Venice infrequently and found it to be a lovely tourist city. Beautiful archticture (Piazza San Marco, etc.), great walking, few vehicles, and all that water.

Loveland resident
Loveland is a small town about an hour from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It is family oriented and feels safe, a good place to raise a family.
