I currently live in Milano, but Venizia is only 3 hours away by train. I have been there many times, and it is definately worth visiting. Tip: NEVER go there in the summer or around holidays like Easter, etc., tooo tourist-packed. wait until the fall (October/November is the best) when the Ribollita is the best (with a glass of Brunello) and the tourists are somewhere else. Venice is also the best, most romantic city on the gloomiest, rainiest day.

It is Italy at its best and worst. I live here in Milan and I have been there for several events, but one things I can say is….doit! This part of Italy is so amazing, and has so much to offer many typpes of people, but to see a real futbol (soccer) match at San Siro, is equal to seeing an amazing performer in Madison Square Garden (in my hometown, NYC!)
