Houston, Harris County

Deliver me from Texas

The most horrible birthday ever. It is hot, the grass feels strange between your toes. It is strangely quiet almost alienlike. I know I am not supposed to, “mess with Texas” but, if I never return to Houston it will be to soon.

Belfast, County Antrim

Wonderful

I went to Belfast as my destination for my first solo trip. The nicest people on the face of the earth. Everywhere you go someone is friendly. While I was thre, I left my wallet in the back of a cab, as you can guess I thought my life was over. It was three days before Christmas and it was full of cash and credit cards. The next day a cab driver came to my hotel and returned it. Everything was still in it, EVERYTHING. Belfast is beautiful, the pints taste wonderful and the people are sure to show you a great time.

Roma, Lazio

Roma

Instead of doing the walk across the stage when I graduated from college, I went on a trip to Italy with the Italian class. The second day I was in Rome I technically graduated with an Art History degree. What a more perfect way to “graduate.” One of the best experiences of my life. I will never forget it.
