Although, I will be in KC the second weekend of October, I would like to check this area out. I think KCAI has a gallery there and I would like to see the students’ works in the community.

This is an annual Labor Day Weekend event. I highly recommend this for the entire family. My favorite parts of the festival are the Osuwa Taiko Drums and the Candlelight Walk!

We went to Nuevo Lorado. Hot, dirty, poor.

I am going there tomorrow! My daughter will be attending Kansas City Art Institute. Yeh, baby!

This is where I had my first camping trip with my husband, many moons ago! We slept in his old boy scout pup tent!

Beautiful. Relaxing. We spent a week at Oglebay when moving from Maryland to Ohio.

Spicy. There is so much variety available there. Even though this area is a few blocks north of Washington University, Fontbonne University, and Concordia Seminary, the Loop attracts a more diverse crowd than just college students.

Antiques and authentic Mexican food. I went to the new Retro 101 shop opening a few weeks back. Great stuff. Food, fun, and music.
