I couldn’t get into the wall to see the original Charles Bridge statues because the tours go once an hour and I arrived at 12:05. So go there first and figure out tour times!

Grand Canyon National Park, Coconino County

seeing more of my country

When I think of travel I usually think of places outside the US that I’d like to visit, but I feel like I don’t know my own country very well – I’ve seen so little of it. The Grand Canyon is the place I haven’t seen in America that appeals to me most.

Germany, Europe

to see a friend

One of my roommates at school came from Germany. I recently saw her for the first time since we graduated at a five-year reunion. It was so great to catch up with her and I’d love to do a better job of staying in touch. What better way than to go to her country for a change? Plus, I’ve never been to Germany and going places I’ve never been seems like a good idea…
