Québec Province, Canada

You either get it or you don't...

People always ask why Quebec gets special consideration in Canada…I always ask if they’ve ever been there.

Quebec truly is a country unto itself. There is so much to do, so much to learn, so many fascinating people to meet. I feel so inspired and incredibly passionate about everything when I’m there.

I think I was a French-Canadian patriot in a past life…

Prince Edward Island, Canada

Can't wait to go again

Sweet, quaint, peaceful, and a world apart from the rest…

Anne of Green Gables is nice and all, but it’s not until you’re stuck on the side of a road in the middle of a blizzard here, driving on a long, winding road with nothing but pastures and cows on both sides, or waking up to the burnt-corn yellow sunrise over a long field outside your hotel window that you truly feel the essence of PEI. It’s like Canada’s Ireland with a bit of Canadian flavour thrown in there for good measure.

I think I’d like to live there for a few months as a retreat just to calm my soul. The land, and the people, are beautiful.

Maine, United States

What's in Maine? A whole lot of nothing...

No words can describe being a teenager and being trapped in this state for 7 years…

It’s great for the outdoorsy types, I’ll admit, but not the best for those who are used to having some resemblance of a life after 5pm… :-)

Bar Harbor, though, is nice from May through October if you don’t mind the tourists.
