Worth visiting!
Nice, accessible, but not quite real.
Both my parents and a younger brother are living there. Parents in Al Ain and the brother in Abu Dhabi. The downside of the UAE is that it’s like an overheated Disney wet dream of itself. Almost nothing you will see was there 50 years ago. But I like Arabs, and grew up in part on the Arabian Peninsula, in Saudi Arabia, so going back was a bit of a nostalgia trip for me. Shawarmas!
