I had heard people rant and rave about this place since I moved to Seattle. My ex even said he went a few times and he LOVED it. I went a few months ago, they put us in the Elvis room. Interesting decor for the whole place. But our food took forever, and it wasn’t even busy when we went. It was a bit below average as Mexican food goes [and coming from Texas, I think I am a good judge in what is and isn’t good TexMex and Mexican food]. They kept forgetting us. My friend had to hunt them down to get a refill for his drink! And when it came time to leave, no check in site and no one to give us something to take home the leftovers. I had to go grab the to-go stuff myself. And we could’ve easily walked out without paying, but we are better than that and waited around for 15 minutes at the register while they hunted down our waitress so we could pay. I am not impressed. If it had been busy there, no big deal, but the place wasn’t that busy. My husband has even been there a few times in the past years and wasn’t impressed either. The decor is interesting, but they need to concentrate more on the cumstomer and the food than the decor.

It was for our honeymoon…though we haven’t been back since, we will be going back finally at the end of this month if all goes well. It was wonderful! And so very beautiful. I got an amazing picture of my husband and our dog walking down the beach in the morning with fog still hanging onto the water and the sunshine was golden and amazing. Wow….wonderful… ^_

awesome shakes {i love the strawberry mostly} and deliciously greasy fries… FOR CHEAP!!!! Both make a nice quick lunch or snack and is under $5!!!! 2 shakes and fries are like 5.27… my daughter loves the shakes so we get two and I eat the fries, too greasy for her. Plus, they give you a load of fries. I recommend not going during lunch, because they are insane busy and the fries tend to be either undercooked or undersalted or even both. I say go around 2ish when lunch rush is over and everything is super fresh!

it’s annoying that I have to deal w/ three levels when shopping here, but luckily, the groceries are all on the same floor. they could use more check out lanes, but I love the self check…. it convenient to get groceries here because my hubby works next door. Most the checkers here are nice {a couple are a bit rude though}.... I don’t like that they kicked out the little shops to make way for the QFC though, a couple of those shops were really cool and one of a kind….

The only place I will ever eat a Gyro. Love these guys, they are good people. Really nice. Always giving my daughter lollipops.

Why is it that people keep uploading none of the correct pictures to places on here? All the pictures that were for Broadway Market were NOT in Seattle… I gotta go dig up ones that are… >< gah!!! And I know what the Market looks like becuase my husband works at one of the shops there and I visit the place a couple times a week….

we went yesterday cuz it was my husband’s only day off…went just before sunset and got to watch it disappear over the horizen…that was the best part of the park….that and the view…the sculptures just don’t take my fancy….my husband loved the ginormous typewriter eraser though….

i was introduced to this one when i first moved up here and i’ve been to other online cafes, but this is the best company…more minutes for your drink (1/2 hour…1 hour if you get there w/in the 1st hour they are open)....i like them..but haven’t been forever since i have a computer at home now that has a working modem….

the summer after 9/11, my husband wanted to take me to go see this place, cuz i’d recently moved up here and never been, we tried to go see, but they stopped us at the gates, being that it is on a military base/gov’t land….that really sucked; we’d ridden our bikes from capitol hill up to u-district along the burke-gilman….was very disappointed…we went to magnuson park to try to look at them place, but the trees were too big to see thru…i don’t know if they’ve reopened the place…would like to see them though…

well, last night i meet my husband at the Satellite up the street, he’d just come from Comet and said the didn’t have anything to drink except 3 taps (no cans, no hard stuff, no cheap beer…)...a couple hrs later when we popped in to see who was there, they were down to 1 tap (guiness)...and they had a band playing, which meant there were lots of people there and more on the way…ever since the owner of the building made Sam sell the place to someone else, the place has been slowly sinking….the paychecks have evidently been bouncing..which is pissing off people…and it seems, that if there is nothing to drink, that the new owner of the comet can’t pay the distributors either….i wonder how long before the building owner decides to give Comet back to Sam or sell it to someone else…
