Italy for Italo
Mmm, Italy. For a while now, I have been obsessed with Italo Calvino and his writings, which for me ring strongly of the truth, and am trying to teach myself how to read in Italian – the language in which he wrote. Concurrently, I have been falling slowly and deeper in love with Italy and the rest of its culture, even upon reading of its darker sides (The Dark Heart of Italy). I am strongly considering entering a long-term traineeship to anywhere in Italy because of it. Oh, Italia!
