Cave Of The Winds, Niagara Falls

Untitled

I haven’t bothered to verify it, but our tour guide told us that the ice destroys these decks every year and they have to be rebuilt at the beginning of each season.

The decks below horseshoe falls on the Canadian have an even more impressive view, but they don’t get you nearly as close.

Crystal Caves of Bermuda, Bermuda

Untitled

Don’t put this one too high up your list of things to do, unless a) you’ve never been in a cave anywhere, or b) it’s really, really hot out. This cave wasn’t much more spectacular than what I can see in central Pennsylvania (and I’m quite sure, elsewhere around the country.) Spend the extra couple of hours on the beach, or touring the naval yard in the evening.

Bermuda, British Overseas Territories

I wanted to move

After less than a day on the island, I completely understood why they don’t let anyone move to the island.
