Well… just in case you didn’t know… Hedgehogs are illegal in CA but legal in NV. So my boyfriend and I went to Las Vegas to get one because he’s been wanting one for a while. We got there in 3 and a half hours [normally a 5 hour drive] and we had some really good pizza from Boston Pizza in Old Town Las Vegas passed the Stratosphere and then we got his hedgehog and we went back to our hotel [The Aruba Hotel… not the ritziest area of town but it was a GREAT hotel for cheap with safe parking, NICE room and FANTASTIC service]. We went to Fremont St. [out door shopping and gambling with big ceiling light shows] and he bought us expensive slushies in coconut cups that had monkey faces carved in them. We spent the rest of the night in our hotel room playing with our new baby girl and just enjoying being out of our houses and together alone for a night. Las Vegas doesn’t have to be a crazy fun-filled, booze, strippers, gambling, partying trip for it to be just a nice getaway.
