Calabrisella Mia

My dad is from Calabria. We spent some time there this summer. It is wonderful. The people have no worries and are very friendly. There is a four hour siesta each day which is great for a mid afternoon nap. We spent just about every day at the beach which isn’t very far from anywhere. I can’t wait until next year when I get to go back and enjoy some more of the great culture.

Freezing

I just got back from a weekend trip to Chicago. Even though it was freezing,I had a great time. There is a Starbucks on just about every corner to warm you up though. I went to Morton’s Steakhouse. As we were checking our coats Steven Tyler was leaving. There is tons of shopping and lots to do. I stayed at the Club Quarters hotel at Wacker and Washington. It was right in the middle of everything for not much more money that hotels that were far away. Small rooms but great location.
