We were there in Dec. Rising early to take some pictures we had breakfast before heading out for our hike. YUM…granola with warm milk and fresh berries. We were ready for the day.

Wow…there are a lot of motorcycles! We have made this a tradition to drive there on New Year’s Day. I enjoy taking pictures of the cactus and beautiful views along the way.

Wow, those are some serious rocks! lol Visit the Church of the Rock, it’s awesome. Plus, on your way up and once there you have a view of Nicholas Cage’s new house. Not much privacy there!

One of our favorite places. We enjoy walking all around the city and of course the Market. Beaches we enjoy around the area are Folly Beach, Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island. One of the places we enjoy eating is Poogan’s Porch on Queen St.

Was there on my honeymoon for 2 days then Maui for 7 days. Was there a few years ago as well. Honolulu is worth stopping for 2 days only. Visit Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor for sure. Make it to the Dole plantation for some delicious fresh pineapple!

In Mondsee there is a yellow church that was used in the filming of the Sound of Music. If you enter the church and look back above the front doorway you see a balcony. This is here the nuns stood in the wedding scene :) It’s a nice small town. My daughters bought some tennis shoes in one of the shoe stores here in Aug.

Hallstatt is know to be one of the most photographed locations in Europe. It is gorgeous! You can rent an electric boat and take a photo like the one you see here. There are no gas powered boats in most Austrian lakes due to them not wanting to pollute the water :). In Hallstatt is a salt mine…highly recommended, but the hike after the incline ride is a doozy!! Quite the workout! Enjoy and buy some salt for your bath back home from the gift shop at the top where you enter the mine.
