Disneyland Paris

Worth visiting!

Woohoooo!

Yes, I know I’ve been here before but I loved it so much that I’m going back this summer.

I’m taking my best friend with me and we’re going to spend four days in Disneyland and then, to soak in some culture (I mean, it is right next to Paris) we’ll spend three or four more days in Paris.

I don’t know what to look forward to more: Montmartre or Space Mountain.

Frankfurt am Main

Worth visiting!

The Book Fair was BRILLIANT

Oh, I’m so in love with this town. The Book Fair was great, I met Tad Williams and actually had a nice chat with him and his wife. I also got a million of my books signed (the last one he signed: To Nadine, with my poor tired hand – Tad) and looked around the Old Town as well.
It’s so cute – you have these old houses and the Römer and when you look out of town you have scyscrapers and the huge airport. Plus, there’s a big Hugendubel (which is a book shop) where I spent a lot of money – it was really great.

P.S.: I’m the girl on the left, the one on the right is my mom. ;)

Linz

Worth visiting!

Hey, I live here!

I won’t for much longer but I’ve been living here basically all my life. It’s not a very large large town (though I wouldn’t call it a small one either) but it’s got everything you need. Cinemas, big and small ones, shops, bars – and a very interesting nightlife in general – restaurants, great public transportation and good schools.

Lake Michigan

Funny

Actually, the reason I want to visit Lake Michigan isn’t because of the nice langdscape or the clean water. Not even to visit the United States (which is quite some way from home for me). No, I’d like to visit Lake Michigan because in one of my favourite book series – Everworld by Katherine Applegate – something very important happens there.
So, it would have to be North-Chicago and I’d be happy to see this place, even if everything that “happened” there is completely fictional.
