I used to live here sorta.

I lived and worked on a sailboat based out of Miami that did 7 day SCUBA diving cruises to the Bahamas with no set itinerary.

Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Minnesota

I used to live here.

I lived and worked at Gunflint Lodge on the Gunflint Flint Lake off the Gunflint Trail (Grand Marais is nearest town). I spent just under a year there and it is hands down the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. The weather is perfect in the summer and it stays cold in the Winter, which is a big change from the temperate winters I am used to in Cincinnati. There is no cell phone reception, radio stations, or TV reception. You are so far from civilization that there is barely any light being projected into the atmosphere at night which makes for incredible star gazing. You can see satellites and shooting stars all over the place. About every other night mother nature put on a light show and the northern lights would fill the sky. Many people I worked with who had worked in Alaska said they had never seen the Northern Lights this great. The winter time Northern Lights are even better than the summer.
