Yosemite National Park, Central California

Great Hiking.

Been here many times and will return many times for years to come. So many beautiful sights in this park. I always stay in Curry Village in either the cabins or tent cabins. There are lots of great waterfalls in the park. Bridalveil, Yosemite Falls, Vernal Falls, Nevada Falls etc. The last time I was here this fall I finally hiked all the way up to the top of Half Dome. It was 8 miles each way, and a pretty strenuous dayhike. We left before the sun rose and returned after it set. It was definitely worth it though. Along the way you pass Vernal and Nevada Falls, which are both breathtaking waterfalls. I highly recommend the hike if you are up to it. There are also many other great shorter hikes throughout the park though if you don’t want to hike all that way.

Machu Picchu, Cusco Region

Untitled

I was here over the summer. We spent the night in Aguas Calientes and then woke up the next morning to catch one of the first buses up all of the switchbacks to the ruins of Machu Picchu. They were an amazing sight, and we had a very knowledgable guide at the ruins.

Islas Galápagos, Ecuador

Awesome!

I was in the Galapagos Islands for about a week. They were amazing. We snorkeled with sea lions and played with them on the beach. We saw tortoises, Blue Footed Boobies, Frigate Birds, Iguanas, Sharks, Rays, and much more. We even got to snorkel with PENGUINS! It was awesome. The penguins would swim past us like little black and white torpedos chasing schools of fish. They were so cute. I would definitely go back here someday.
