Redwood National Park

Worth visiting!

Redwoods

I grew up half and hour from the redwoods, and they hold a special place in my heart.

It is difficult for my husband and I to get back to that part of California, but someday I want to show him their unique beauty.

Just thinking about the redwoods makes me happy. I can almost smell them now. :)

A review of this place

My husband and I visited Chattanooga last weekend with the intent of considering moving there. I was encouraged by what we found: afforable housing, a clean city that the citizens are working to improve, and some of the friendliest people you’ll ever find! Chattanooga is looking pretty likely for us, although it’s not definate. Now we just need our house here in Vegas to sell, so we can make our decision and get going!

A review of this place

THe smallest town I’ve ever been in. My friend lives there, and when I went to visit her, I found the the town consists of a post office, a diner, and an antique store! Oh yeah, and a few houses. The diner is a good place to eat though. It’s called Miller’s Grocery… good mac ‘n cheese! While we were eating there, a guy rode by on his bike and he had a helmet on, with an armadillo stuck on top. I snapped a picture of him out the window from my seat. It was a good laugh.

White Hills

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

A peace of the dessert was given to my husband and I, and we were told it was in White Hills, AZ. So we went there, and found a lot of dessert, and not much else. Neat, huh?

A tip I have about this place

The pink jeep tour is really fun! It’s kinda pricey, but such a great trip. Educational too!

Maui

Worth visiting!

B-e-a-utiful!

I’ve been to Maui twice, and stayed in Lahaina both times. I love it there, and would jump on an opportunity to go back.
