Gorgeous scenery, wonderfully historic sites, and friendly people. There are a few casinos here and there, but they generally refer to them as a way to collect the “stupid” fees. Backwards? No, merely old-fashioned, in a wonderful way. Give Mississippi a chance. She’ll grow on ya!

I know there have to be wonderful, interesting and beautiful places in this town, but my husband and I got lost, and ended up in South Chicago. Bad. Baaaaaad. Just… bad.

You can not imagine what it’s like to stand in these dunes until you are actually there. They are mesmerizing, and it’s definitely an experience you won’t want to miss. Most decidedly WORTH IT.

Definitely worth visiting, for the scenery alone. Friendly locals and a beautiful backdrop make this town worth it!

The birthplace of Memorial Day, home to the 1st public college for women, and stomping grounds for the finest folks in the most beautiful city in the wonderful South, Columbus is absolutely, definitely, most decidedly worth visiting.
