Amsterdam is the most amazing city. Laid back and busy at the same time. Plus Dutch is this weird confluence of German and English. Great place to visit.

over 4 years agoI was bored out of my skull. Admittedly it was a business trip, so I may give the M-polis another shot but not until I’ve been other places.
over 4 years agoI had the good fortune to spend a month in Mitte, the heart of Berlin. Berlin has a combination of culture, arts, architecture and commerce but surprisingly little attitude. Truly a global city – and one on the rise. Go there and explore Prenzlauerburg, Mitte, Wedding and the rest of the former East Berlin before it all gets yuppified.
